Naturally Woodland

Naturally Woodland in Brynna is an eco-friendly and modern development of seven luxury retreat family homes. Set on the edge of Brynna Woods in Rhondda Cynon Taf, the Woodland offers exceptional detached family homes at an affordable price for families who aspire to live close to nature.

We developed a masterplan for the site to seamlessly integrate with the idyllic woodland surroundings, creating a clearing in the woods that reinforces the sense of settlement in the landscape. The homes have distinct characters that thoughtfully contribute to the woodland setting.

Adopting the principle of a central village green, we designed a community space at the heart of the development, maintaining the natural character of the area.

Our selection of materials unifies the development and emphasises its connection to the woodland. The interior aesthetics showcase a blend of modern, clean lines, a sophisticated design strategy and carefully curated accents that complement the external design.

Inside, open-plan living spaces extend effortlessly into one another, creating a continuous and functional layout that promotes adaptability within each home. The full-height windows strategically maximise the natural light, establishing a strong connection with the surrounding landscape. Stand-out pieces such as centralised kitchens, wood-burning fires, and glass balustrades add focal points to different areas, creating unique and attractive spaces.

Each home has a unique identity featuring dramatic architectural features like oversized entrance doors, beautifully crafted timber, and an open tread stairwell with a full-height entrance hall, heightening the value and interest of each home.
